The PS1 is a great sounding and well-made phono preamp that punches way above its weight. It’s custom made by Technolink, as an improvement over their TC-750. The circuit board is redesigned and incorporates 20 additional components and 1% tolerance resistors to achieve better RIAA and gain performance. It also has 2 dB more gain than the equivalent Technolink unit, so your amp can operate at its ideal level, as it would with a digital source. Excellent RIAA accuracy (0.5dB) and very low distortion. The simple black matte finish is understated and nicely done.
