The C 589 is a dedicated CD player built for customers who continue to value physical media, delivering clear, detailed sound with reliable performance. Designed for easy integration, it offers a range of analogue and digital outputs to suit a variety of Hi-Fi systems, making it a flexible solution for both new installations and upgrades.

A key part of its performance is NAD’s implementation of QRONO d2a processing, which improves timing accuracy and helps preserve the detail and natural flow of music for a more refined listening experience. With its precision transport and refined digital design, the C 589 ensures consistent playback while maintaining the simplicity and performance NAD is known for.

The NAD C 589 is engineered to extract the highest level of performance from compact disc playback. Its proprietary Dynamic Digital Headroom (DDH) circuitry eliminates inter-sample clipping, allowing percussion and transients to hit harder and cleaner without distortion. MQA Labs’ QRONO d2a technology improves digital timing and resolution, enhancing playback of both PCM and MQA content for greater musical realism. A high-quality CD loader ensures smooth operation and precise disc reading, while a carefully implemented digital-to-analogue stage preserves fidelity and low noise. With a broad range of analogue and digital outputs, the C 589 is built to deliver uncompromised sound in high-performance systems.
