Altec Lansing 9820-8B Coaxial Monitors 97dB
These are a 12-inch version of the famous 604 coaxial driver. Instead of a 604 driver this is a 920-8b, which came along in 1985. "Legacy and Modern DIY: Though overlooked during its commercial life by high-end home audiophiles who preferred Altec's theater line, the 920-8B has found a second life among vintage audio hobbyists. Due to its efficiency and surprising performance in open-baffle setups or custom cabinets, it is appreciated today as a budget-friendly entry into vintage coaxial sound."
Packaged here in a 5-sided enclosure weighing 44 lbs. Very sensitive and easy to drive to loud levels with as little as 2 watts. These are fun! But we need to make room for other things. Note that the connections are the Speakon type (or 1/4 inch). A pair of cables will be included at asking price.
