This is the German built Acoustic Solid Wood Midi - a discontinued model. It has the tall outboard synchronous motor pod, the M2 controller with crystal oscillator, and the large plinth, all from the Solid Wood ($4400) but with with the smaller, 35mm solid aluminum platter (6kg). Brand new 600g record weight included ($185). Fitted is the outstanding Sorane SA1.2 tonearm ($2450) from Japan, also like new. This arm is very versatile and can handle heavy cartridges, even the Ortofon SPU's. Recommended for low output moving coils. We also sell Hana, Dynavector, Nagaoka and Goldring cartridges.
