Minimalist system that punches above it’s weight

I was looking to update my hifi from years ago but wanting to keep it modern and simple. Something for both music and big screen entertainment. Enter the Dali Oberon 3 loudspeakers paired with the Canadian designed Bluesound Powernode 2i.

This little kit ticks a lot of boxes. Great sounding, aesthetically pleasing, simple to setup and partially Canadian. The Oberon 3 have a lot of depth for their size, very punchy but with a clean and wide soundstage. The Powernode delivering amazing sonic performance streaming MQA, uncompressed tracks from Tidal. It’s 60 watts more than enough.

The components connected with some Van den Hul D-352 10AWG speaker cable I had from my last setup.

It’s a great little minimalist kit for smaller spaces and with the upgradeable firmware / software tech for the Powernode should be fantastic for years.
