Introducing DALI's new BASIK Subwoofer

Compact, colourful subwoofer delivering powerful room-filling bass

DALI is pleased to announce the launch of the BASIK SUB, a new high-performance all-round subwoofer designed to meet the growing demand for compact yet powerful low-frequency solutions in modern living spaces and audio systems.

Combining controlled bass performance with flexible integration and expressive design options, the BASIK SUB expands DALI’s offering for compact loudspeaker systems and helps users unlock the full depth of their system whether for music, film, or gaming.

Complete your system

The BASIK SUB completes compact loudspeaker systems by providing the low-frequency foundation that smaller speakers can't fully reproduce.

It extends bass in a controlled and musical way, adding depth, weight, and scale for a more balanced and immersive listening experience where compact speakers are supported rather than overshadowed.

Elegant colourful design

Designed for modern interiors, the BASIK SUB combines compact proportions with a clean, versatile aesthetic.

It is available in five finishes - Solid Black, Solid White, Caramel White, Golden Yellow, and Chilly Blue - offering options for both discreet integration and more expressive visual styling. The colour palette is also designed to complement the DALI KUPID and DALI SONIK series perfectly, creating a cohesive look when building a compact DALI system.

BASIK SUB

Designed to complete your compact speaker system, the BASIK SUB adds depth and precision to your music and movies. Its compact, colourful design fits effortlessly into your space, while time-coherent performance delivers tight, controlled bass. With flexible controls and easy placement, it integrates seamlessly, bringing greater balance, scale and realism to every listening experience.

Smooth integration into stereo and surround systems

The BASIK SUB integrates seamlessly into both stereo and home cinema systems, acting as a natural extension of the main speakers.

It reinforces low frequencies without disrupting tonal balance, ensuring a cohesive and unified sound across all system types and listening environments.

Down-firing 8-inch long-stroke woofer

At its core, the BASIK SUB features a down-firing 8-inch long-stroke woofer with a robust magnet system, paper cone, and low-loss rubber surround.

This design delivers deep, controlled bass with even room dispersion, reducing localisation and improving placement flexibility.

Powerful Class-D amplifier

A high-efficiency Class-D amplifier delivers 170 watts RMS and up to 220 watts peak power, providing dynamic, controlled performance with low energy consumption and heat.

It ensures stable, effortless bass reproduction for music, TV, and film content, even at higher listening levels.

Easy placement for room-filling sound

Compact dimensions and a down-firing design make the BASIK SUB easy to position in a wide range of rooms.

25 mm feet reduce floor interaction and support consistent performance, enabling stable, room-filling bass whether placed near a wall or in a corner.

Unlock the full depth of your system

With the BASIK SUB, DALI expands its range of compact audio solutions for modern listening environments.

Combining controlled bass performance, flexible integration, and expressive design, it is a natural match for DALI’s compact loudspeakers and a versatile addition to stereo and surround systems.
