Schmidt Audio OB-V2 Open Baffle Speakers (pre-owned)
Built here in southern Ontario. These are in great condition, just over a year old. They feature the horn tweeter arrangement - description from Schmidt website:
"A modified SB Acoustics compression driver mated to a B&C horn to create smooth, natural and detailed mid/high frequencies with excellent dispersion characteristics...The crossover is all "Schmidt", complete with Janzen caps, Solen inductors, and Visaton attenuator."
..Dual 12" Eminence Deltalite II woofers provide high power handling & sensitivity, responsive tight sounding bass, and legendary reliability."
The owner also got an alternate, dipole tweeter module which he found to be softer sounding/more to his liking. They're interchangeable and both are included. The modular nature of the baffles means you could upgrade them later to, say, active bass or other options.
