“Naturalness in everything is good for all.” - Hippocrates

Perla Esclusiva is Xavian's best selling compact loudspeaker, introduced in 2018 to widespread acclaim - it replaced the three-year-old Perla model. The cabinet is now made of solid Italian oak, a wood with even more density and longevity than walnut. This is the reason each cabinet is now over 10% heavier.

Perla Esclusiva is still a two-way loudspeaker with a front slotted bass reflex port, now stiffer, and featuring top-class Mundorf capacitors in the crossover. This change allowed Xavian to tune the speaker a bit lower, to achieve even fuller sound - bass response is absolutely incredible for a speaker of this size and price.

Perla Esclusiva uses a unique mosaic wood construction, features new and massive binding posts from Xavian's more expensive models, and each cabinet includes a decorative artificial pearl that´s set into the rear baffle – a sign of Xavian's pride of manufacture and love for music.

This model is easy to install in any room, its exceptional serial crossover keeping perfect phase, and the custom AudioBarletta drivers are made in Italy according to our specifications; resulting in a harmonic,  musical presentation, unrivalled in its class.

Perla Esclusiva, a gorgeous speaker that sounds even better than it looks. The optional matching stands are sold separately. Perla Esclusiva can be auditioned at Stereo Untypical, by appointment. Sadly the Perla Esclusiva has been discontinued, with no replacement model. We are sold out.

Recent Purchase

I recently purchased the Audiolab CDT, Xavian Perla Exclusiva Speakers as well as a Neotech NEVD-2001 Coaxial Cable from Noam. I am not an audiophile per definition, but do enjoy listening to music, more so now that I am retired, mostly streaming Tidal. I also have an extensive collection of CD's, which I routinely listen to on the above music system, hooked up to my Naim Uniti Atom.
The above hardware has been extensively reviewed by others more competent than I, but to my ears the combination sounds superb on my system, and in my opinion that is what matters the most.
Noam has been a pleasure to deal with, very knowledgeable, helpful, and he went the extra mile to match the Neotech NEVD-2001 Coaxial Cable with the Audiolab CDT, after numerous hours of private listening on his part ,to ensure an excellent match, which I can attest to.
I can heartily recommend him to any aspiring audiophile. Well Done Noam!

You will be surprised with Xavian

I've bought a pair of Xavian Joy mini speakers but after a short while, the speakers bought me.
With my wife, we fell in love with the cabinet design on the first day. In 2021 even with highly-priced speakers hard to find many examples for loudspeakers with the same or similar cabinet quality. This is made of wood and they beautiful indeed. Perfect handcraft. Made in the Czech Republic, not somewhere else.
The sound is really detailed overall. You can hear when the singer opens her lips. The sound stage is great, and a good point for the front-ported design. The high is sharp but in a positive way. The mid frequencies are direct and the singing voice is great. The bass response is good, but we can't cheat on the physics. This is a small box for smaller rooms or for music with no extra bass demand. In the end, I'm sure if somebody buy a pair of Xavian speaker will surprise how solidly built they are and when you see and touch it, you will understand what is high-quality speaker manufacturing. Knock on the cabinet, you won't hear anything.

I'm Enchanted

" I love you more today than yesterday, but not as much as tomorrow . " These lyrics from the 1969 super hit by the rather cheesy band, Spiral Starecase,
captures perfectly my experience with the Xavian Perlas since they entered my home in June 2020. The speakers sounded impressive from the git-go , but
with each listening , over the last several months , their sound has blossomed and ripened. The speakers possess the uncanny ability to effectively convey the emotional content of music. For me they conjure the uncomplicated joy of discovering and experiencing contemporaneously, both live and on recordings , the iconic folk, jazz, and rock artists of the late 1960's and early 1970's.

The Perlas are a gorgeous speaker: aesthetically and sonically. They transmit a warm, direct, detailed
sound that speaks to your soul. The warmth is not a shrouding of the high frequencies , but a sonic rendering that is liquid: natural, pure, dimensional.
They are consistently congenial, always engaging , and happy with any musical genre or format.

The true test of any satisfying experience is if you would do it again. Absolutely! I would purchase
the Perlas again and look forward to making further acquisitions from Noam. His knowledge,
support, service, communication, and advice are
exceptional .

Sight unseen purchase

After reading a review of another speaker, the author mentioned a speaker, that I was unfamiliar with--Xavian Perla Exclusiva-that produced recorded music
far beyond the boundaries of his current speakers being auditioned. This peaked my interest. So, to the internet , and the revelation of Stereo Untypical as the sole North America dealer. I purchased the Perla's after a discussion with Noam the same day.

The Perla's are excellent at involving the listener--your body moving to the beat, your foot tapping, the head bobing. The dynamic ability of the Perlas to recreate a live performance with rich, warm treble, a natural midrange, with an almost unbelievable tight bass is easily evident to the casual and critical listener. Yet, its hard to accept the amount of soundstage these small speakers can reproduce, even in my large ceiling room. The
Perla's produce a vary natural unfiltered resolution of detail with a modest amount of power.

But, I mostly listen to enjoy the music, and not focus on the critical aspects. The Perla's performance, not to mention fit and finish, far exceed their price point when compared to other competitors. Bottom line, Perla's reproduce the music faithfully....what more do you want?

Impressed by Perla

Bought the Perla from Noam a week ago. Must say it was well worth it, driving more than an hr to audition the speaker. Ultimately, it was the refinement, balance and PRAT that sealed the deal. Have auditioned many bookshelf and small floorstanding speakers around the $5k or more and can definitely say that Perla's combination of merits is rare within the price point. Really nice wood finish in an understated way. I got the Cognac oak. Still can't believe the quality of the sound coming out of this tiny speaker.

Thx Noam for setting up the tube amp for the audition. Very pleasant purchase experience.

Music: classical and acoustic jazz

Hi Noam,
I wanted to wait for a bit longer to give you a more comprehensive feedback. What I am going to say below is probably not a surprise to you. The speaker is beyond outstanding.

When I wrote the review on your website, I figured I couldn't be too enthusiastic because people would think that it was not a real review. In addition, at that time I probably had only 30 hrs on them. So I was positive but reserved. But honestly now after running the speaker with 100+ hrs (still improving), I am amazed how it sounds and all I have read about the speaker was true, including of course your initial review. When I first read the reviews about Perla, I was skeptical. As over the years, I think I have been consistently unimpressed by nicely reviewed speakers that are just average as far as quality/$ goes. And my list includes a lot of the usual suspects under the 7k mark, a lot of them driven by 10K+ amplification when I auditioned them. As a buyer, it is very hard to triangulate the home experience, to reviews, to dealer auditions and come up with an estimate of how a speaker would perform at home. Even that day in your home, I had to make an educated guess and I am glad my expectation was correct.

One thing that surprises me is how resolving and true to the source is the speaker. I find that out when I start swapping existing sets of cables among my CD->pre->power. I can clearly differentiate the impact of each configuration. To me, that is the hallmark of an outstanding design. I used to hear just a bit of difference as the Quad 12L tends to homogenize the sound. But Perla is so much more accurate and yet not analytical. As an example, I have never heard violin sounds so sweet with either CD or vinyl. Cymbals have never sounded as refined and extended. The list just goes on and on. In my 16x16 room (because of its square shape), it took a bit longer than expected to find the right placement (a lot easier with less 'accurate' speakers like my old Quad). But once I am dialed in, it is just beautiful, refined music pouring out. The dynamic contrast that they manage is outstanding too.

Anyway, just thought I would let you know. Merry Christmas and hope we all can enjoy a better 2021 once the COVID situation improves.
