Made with Alnico magnets, Hana's top-end MH is a MicroLine-tipped, High-Output Moving Coil (HOMC), with threaded bolt holes for ease of installation. It requires a preamp load resistance of 47K Ohms, like most high-output cartridges. This means it works with low-gain or "MM" phono sections. Made in Japan.
